Responsibilities:
From the moment Lance met Jesus in 1999, he has had a great desire to proclaim the name of Christ and to teach His Word. Lance's love and passion for teaching and disciple-making is what motivates and drives him in ministry. Since 2002, when the Lord called Lance into vocational ministry, he has served, led, taught and pastored in several churches and cities. In addition to pastoring, he is also the chaplain at The Dunham School, where he taught both Juniors and Seniors Bible for 14 years, as well as, their Bible department head. A student in his first year of teaching at The Dunham School in 2008 is actually who God used to bring Lance to The Church of the Highlands as an interim pastor in February 2009. It soon became apparent to the Elders and Lance that the Lord was desiring to move this interim pastorship into permanency. Therefore, as of June 2009, Lance became the senior pastor. As pastor, his responsibilities are expansive, but Lance's priorities fall to accurately handling the Word of God and shepherding the flock the Lord has placed in his care.
Bio:
He and his wife Judie get lots of in home training of teaching and disciple-making as they strive to raise their 3 sons and daughter, to the glory of God.
Hobbies:
As husband, dad, teacher and pastor, there isn't much spare time to speak of, but when he can, Lance has a huge love for writing and reading. He is hungry for knowledge and more of Jesus displayed in His life. And if you search hard enough in his library, you are sure to stumble across a comic book or two... Green Lantern all the way!
